On Friday December 17th, 2021 from 10AM until 2PM, the Belleville Police Service will be on scene at Marc’s No Frills, 211 Bell Blvd., seeking food and cash donations for Gleaners Foodbank Quinte. The goal of the event is to “Cram-A-Cruiser” with as much food items, or cash donations as possible, in order to help those in need this holiday season and into the new year. A list of needed items will be on hand during the event but typically, non-perishable items are the most needed. The annual event started in 2016 and since that time 6477kg (14279.34lbs) of food and $3589.00 in cash donations have been received.
