There was violence on a Belleville Transit bus early Wednesday evening.
City police responded to the Quinte Mall around 6:30 after reports a bus driver had been assaulted by a passenger.
Luckily, brave residents and another bus driver coralled the supect and held him until police arrived.
A 31-year-old Belleville man was arrested for assaulting both drivers and breaching probation. He appears for a bail hearing Thursday.
There’s no word on injuries.
