The inaugural Belleville General Hospital Foundation Medithon is Friday.
CJBQ, Mix 97 and Rock 107 are among five local radio stations taking part in the event from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.
The Medithon is raising money for the Regional Nuclear Medicine project which aims to replace the three aging cameras at Belleville Hospital with two new, high tech functioning cameras.
BGHF has raised over $2 million over the past two years and is needs to raise another $700,000 to reach their goal.
The Medithon is supporting the annual BGHF gala which organizers transitioned from a live event to a virtual one this week.
