A Toronto man is facing charges after police seized $20,000 worth of drugs in a drug trafficking investigation in Trenton.
Wednesday afternoon, the Quinte West OPP Community Street Crime Unit and the OPP Emergency Response Team conducted a traffic stop on Dundas Street West in connection with the investigation.
The driver was arrested and LSD and methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $20,000 was seized.
Thirty-seven-year-old Winston Clarke faces two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one charge of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was held for a bail hearing Thursday.
