The Ontario government announced on Wednesday it is providing $12,338,000 to help build and repair local infrastructure in Northumberland County and Peterborough-South.
The announcement indicates the investment is part of the government’s plan “to build Ontario by getting shovels in the ground on critical infrastructure projects that support economic recovery, growth and job creation.”
Northumberland County is getting $1,532,597
The municipality of Trent Hills is on the list for $1,250,685.
The amount announced for Brighton is $807,143
And the Township of Cramahe gets $226,844.
