“All recipients are much appreciative of receiving that extra little bit of help. In some cases, it has been a very rough year for them. And I think its, you know, they’re very appreciative of knowing that there’s someone out there who is thinking of them.”
Donations can be made in person at the Christmas Sharing Program office at Century Village, 199 Front St., second floor or they can be mailed to the Christmas Sharing Program, PO Box 22056, Belleville, On. K8N 5V7.
Online donations can also be made at christmassharing.org/sponsors-donors.
The program is also looking for volunteers to deliver frozen Christmas dinners, from the Community Cares Holiday Meal Program, to local shut-ins and single seniors.
