Police have laid charges in connection with an October fatal collision on Old Highway 2 in Trenton.
A 22-year-old woman from Quinte West and a 23-year-old woman from Belleville were killed in the two-vehicle crash just east of RCAF Road during the midday on October 3.
They were in an eastbound vehicle.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
On Tuesday, following an investigation by the Quinte West OPP Crime Unit, OPP Technical Collision Investigators and OPP Reconstructionists, Quinte West OPP arrested the 23-year-old driver of the westbound vehicle.
Aysar Younes of Quinte West is charged with two counts each of impaired operation causing death and dangerous operation causing death.
The accused was held in custody for a scheduled bail hearing on Tuesday.
