And for the second time in three games, the Belleville Senators couldn’t score.
The visiting Manitoba Moose blanked the B-Sens 2-0 to sweep the two game weekend series at the CAA Arena sending Belleville to their third straight loss.
The Senators have only allowed seven goals in those three games but have scored just once.
Rookie Arvid Holm stopped all 22 shots for his first AHL shutout.
B-Sens head coach Troy Mann was not behind the bench for the game. He was held out due to AHL COVID-19 protocols. No other information was available.
Belleville falls into sixth place in the AHL North Division. They are scheduled to begin a five game road trip in Hartford Wednesday however the Wolfpack have had recent COVID issues. As of now the game is still on.
Belleville’s next home game is December 18 against the Providence Bruins.
