The season of giving is in full swing in Prince Edward County.
On Friday, December 3, the Prince Edward Collegiate Institute (PECI) Parent Council delivered three winter planters to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital just in time for the holidays.
This festive greenery will go a long way in helping to brighten the spirits of the patients, staff and visitors who arrive to the hospital this season.
The PECI Parent Council reported as part of the planter and wreath fundraiser, 350 planters and 187 wreaths were created and sold resulting in over $7,000 raised for projects at PECI. The Parent Council decided gifting these planters to the hospital was a great way to pay the community’s generosity forward.
