Two people arrested after Lennox & Addington OPP foiled a break and enter in progress in Greater Napanee.
Around 1:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to a reported break and enter at a building on County Road 8 in Greater Napanee where they located two suspects inside the building.
Both suspects were arrested without incident.
Police seized break in tools and a small amount of suspected fentanyl from the scene.
42-year-old Richard Peterbaugh of Quinte West and 51-year-old Richard MacDonald of Belleville are each charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Drug Possession.
Peterbaugh is also charged with Theft and Fail to Comply with Probation and was held for a bail hearing Wednesday.
MacDonald was released with a court appearance scheduled for January 22.
