The community is coming together to support a Quinte area boy following a car accident that has left him in an induced coma at Kingston General Hospital.
On November 25, 17-year-old Bayside Secondary School student Jordan Bowman was injured in what has been described as a near fatal car accident on Highway 33 near Kingston.
Bowman suffered numerous injuries and is now in a medically induced coma in hospital in Kingston, and his mother, who works with people with disabilities for a living, has taken a leave of absence from work to be by his side, according to a GoFundMe.
According to the description on the popular crowdfunding page, doctors have informed Bowman’s mother Jenn that he will likely be in hospital for at least two to three months.
As a result, family and friends set up the GoFundMe page to help support Jordan and his mother while she takes time from work to be by his side.
