After collecting two wins on Thursday at the women’s single A OFSAA basketball tournament, the Nicholson Catholic College Crusaders kept the tempo up on Friday.
Thursday, the Crusaders edged number one ranked Walkerton 45 – 41 and battled back and forth with the UTS Blues eventually winning 58-39.
On Friday they faced off against the fifth ranked Hamilton Knights.
The Crusaders jumped out to an early lead and never looked back beating the Knights easily 63-33.
Next up for Nicholson was Notre-Dame to wrap up tournament pool play.
The Crusaders battled but eventually dropped the game 40-34.
They’ll take on the Roland Michener Rebels Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in semi-final action.
There are no spectators allowed but the game can be streamed on the OFSAA website.
