Assault
On November 25, 2021 at 6:52 p.m., Belleville police were called to a local restaurant for a complaint of an assault. As a result of the investigation a seventeen-year-old Stirling area resident was arrested and charged with assault. The youth was later released with a court date set for December 8. In compliance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act the name of the youth will not be released.
Warrants
On November 26, 2021 at 1:40 a.m., Belleville police attended the area of Wellington Crescent for complaints of a disturbance. While investigating the disturbance, attending officers discovered a male had outstanding arrest warrants for fail to attend court and fail to attend for prints. As a result, 35-year-old Belleville resident Timothy Sharpe was arrested for the outstanding warrants. A search revealed a small quantity of illegal narcotics and led to further charges of possession of a schedule one substance and breach of probation. Sharpe was released with a court date of December 16.
