On November 24, 2021, as part of the ongoing investigation into the sale of narcotics in the city of Belleville, members of Project Renewal conducted a vehicle stop on Wallbridge Loyalist Road. A search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed the following:
- 18.78 grams of Fentanyl
- 17 individually wrapped packages of fentanyl
- 1 gram of cocaine
- 16 pills including morphine and Amphetamine
- 1.9 grams of Psilocybin
As a result, of the vehicle stop and items seized the following individuals were arrested and charged:
Forty-one-year-old Frankford, Ontario resident Somer-Lee Driscoll was charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Schedule 1, Morphine, for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Schedule 1, Amphetamine, for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Schedule III, Psilocybin, for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Breach Probation
