Domestic disturbance
On November 24, 2021 at 5:40 a.m., police received a call on a domestic disturbance at a west end address. Police were advised that a male and female were arguing and that the male had taken the female’s cell phone. That male had fled the residence in a vehicle prior to police arrival as he was on conditions not to be at the residence stemming from a prior domestic assault arrest. Police located the vehicle at approximately 9 a.m. at a local motel and they were able to track down the male who was in the area. A 39-year-old Belleville male was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a condition of his release. He was held for a bail hearing on November 25, 2021.
Arrested on warrants
On November 24, 2021, at 1:40 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Cannifton Road. Police were advised that that a female was outside yelling at her neighbours. On arrival, police identified the female as 33-year-old Miranda Wolfe of Belleville. Wolfe had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints. She was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. She was later released with a court date of December 16, 2021.
