Access to Campbellford Memorial Hospital is being restricted due to an outbreak of COVID-19.
HKPR District Health Unit officials say six patients in the medical surgical unit on the second floor of the hospital have tested positive.
There are no cases among staff at this time.
Three of the six cases were fully vaccinated and three were not.
The medical/surgical unit is closed to all visitors, the exception being those visiting patients in hospital for end of life care.
Also closed is the second floor outpatient Endoscopy Suite.
The Emergency Department remains open.
Visiting rules for the emergency department are unchanged and minor children and elderly adults who need supportive care can continue to be accompanied by one person.
