The Belleville Fire Department made quick work of an apartment house fire at 288 Coleman Street near the intersection of West Moira Street.
Crews were called out to the older two-storey house around 6 o’clock.
The fire was under control before 6:30.
Flames affected part of the house and there was smoke and water damage throughout.
One person was treated on scene for smoke inhalation.
