On November 20, 2021 at 1:16 a.m., police were called to a residence regarding a loud disturbance. Attending officers were able to determined that a female had been assaulted. As a result, a 41-year-old Belleville resident was arrested and charged for assault. The male was later released with a court date of December 20, 2021. The identity of the male is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
Arrest Warrants
On November 20, 2021, Belleville police arrested two separate individuals on outstanding warrants. Thirty-five-year-old Belleville, resident Allan Joseph Kelleher was arrested on outstanding warrants for Assault, Fail to Appear in Court and Breach of Probation. Kelleher was held for a show cause hearing on December, 20, 2021.
In a separate arrest, 29-year-old Belleville resident Kayla Brickman was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Fail to Appear in court. Brickman was released with a court date of December 16, 2021.
Domestic Assault
On November, 21, 2021 at 11:06 a.m., police were called to a residence regarding a domestic dispute. As a result of the investigation a 26-year-old male Belleville resident was charged with two counts of assault. The male was released with a court date of December 13, 2021. The identity of the male is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
Impaired
On November 21, 2021 at 7:39 p.m., Belleville police were called to the area of Elmwood Drive and Airport Parkway for the report of a vehicle stuck on the tracks. It was determined that the male driver of the vehicle was impaired. As a result, sixty-one-year-old Belleville resident Carl Huffman was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and refusal to provide a breath sample. Huffman was later released with a court date of December 16, 2021.
