In a release issued Friday, Belleville police say they continue to investigate the three incidents of cemetery vandalism within their jurisdiction.
During the first week of November, almost 500 headstones were spray painted at St. James Cemetery in the west end and Elmwood Cemetery on River Road.
Vandals struck St. James again on November 9 with another 150 stones damaged.
Police say a dedicated tip line remains open at 613-966-0882, extension 3600.
There is now a $7,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
Several local residents who wish to remain anonymous have put forth the money for the reward.
Two cemeteries in Quinte West and one in Kingston were also recently vandalized.
