The new CEO of the Ontario SPCA is impressed with the new Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward shelter.
Doug Brooks paid a visit to the building that is currently under construction on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road on Thursday and then met with staff and board directors.
Brooks says the level of support and engagement with the community is inspiring and that the impressive build will serve the animals and people of the region for many decades to come.
Brooks joined the OSPCA in September and is travelling throughout the province to visit Humane Societies and consult with key partners.
