Wednesday was a momentous occasion on the Bay of Quinte as Greg and Nancy Annesley said goodbye to the restaurant they’d committed their lives to for the past two decades.
In the year 2000, the Annesleys started up a small seafood spot located right on the bay.
With just 30 seats at its inception, few could have seen it becoming what it has 20 years later: a Belleville staple with over 200 seats and years of beloved history.
After 21 years as owners of The Boathouse, many awards won, many tourists impressed and many memories made, Greg and Nancy have handed over the wheel to Tom Mantis to take over as owner of The Boathouse.
Mantis has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has already begun concept work for an expansion of the beloved Belleville spot.
