Elexicon Energy is reporting that between 500 and 5,000 customers are being affected by a power outage caused by an early morning vehicle accident.
According to Elexicon, the accident occurred around 6:50 a.m. Saturday on Herchimer Avenue near Victoria Avenue in Belleville.
They say that crews have been dispatched to the incident but report that a range of 500 to 5000 people may be affected by the outage.
According to the company the affected area ranges from Pine Street to Bleecker Avenue to Bridge Street East.
