Two Northumberland County hospices received a much needed financial boost Friday.
Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini presented $285,000 in one-time funding to Community Care Northumberland and Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre.
The funding will be used to address the additional costs Ed’s House has experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth is receiving a one-time increase of $142,500.
