There were six new cases of COVID-19 reported Friday in Hastings and Prince Edward counties and all of the positive tests were found in people who were not vaccinated.
Three of the new cases were in persons 18 years of age or younger.
Four of the six cases were located in Prince Edward County with the two others being in Quinte West.
One person is being treated in hospital.
Eighty-five percent of Hastings-Prince Edward’s population 12 years of age and older have been fully vaccinated.
