After eight years as the coordinator for the Christmas Sharing Program, Pam Smith is retiring from the position.
Wednesday, Board Chair Ann Garvin announced that Smith will be replaced by Rick Clow.
Garvin said that Clow is a retiree who spent 24 years as a manager for Quinte Waste Solutions and was looking for a new challenge.
The program, which uses donations to help Quinte area families deal with food costs during the holiday season, is accepting applications for this Christmas during the month of November.
Families and individuals can visit the Christmas Sharing Program office at 199 Front Street, Century Village suite 206A on the second floor to register on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Individuals or families must provide proof of address, income and identification.
Children under 10 will automatically be signed up for the firefighters’ toy drive and individuals can sign up for the Community Care’s Holiday Meal Program.
