In response to an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 in Central Hastings, a special drive-through testing clinic is being held in Madoc.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, together with Quinte Health Care and Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services, are hosting the clinic Thursday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Madoc Township Office on Highway 62 in Eldorado.
Individuals who have been identified by HPEPH as high-risk contacts of a case of COVID-19, are concerned they may have been exposed, or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, are encouraged to seek testing.
No pre-registration is required to attend the clinic.
If you have been contacted by HPEPH as a high-risk contact, please inform the person testing you and provide the reference number you were given by HPEPH.
There are currently seven active cases of the virus in Central Hastings, but it has the highest rate per 100,000 people of any local region at 30.7.
