Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.
The number of active cases is up to 28 as there have been no recoveries since Monday’s report.
Of the new cases, one is an unvaccinated individual with the cause attributed to travel.
The other case is fully vaccinated and caused by local spread.
One new case is located in Quinte West and the other in Central Hastings.
The health unit’s dashboard shows no one in hospital at this time.
Ninety percent of local residents aged 12 and up have received a first dose of a COVID vaccine with 84% having received two doses.
