The OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement, or ROPE, squad is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender.
Police say 40-year-old Christopher Derrett is wanted for breach of his statutory release.
He is serving a two-year-and-one-day sentence for dangerous operation of a conveyance, two counts of possession of weapons, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a schedule 1 substance.
Police say Derrett is known to frequent Tyendinaga, Belleville and Trenton and has ties to the Peterborough area.
He is described as 5’10, 176 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
