The search for a second suspect allegedly involved in the shooting and eventual death of a Trent Hills man in September has ended.
Northumberland OPP announced Monday that 30-year-old Kaveon Daniel of Mississauga was arrested by the Greater Sudbury Police Service on Saturday on unrelated charges and was subsequently brought into Northumberland County OPP custody.
Daniel, originally reported by police to be 19 years old, has been charged with accessory after the fact, to murder in connection to the homicide of 38-year-old Warkworth resident Andrew Brenton Brown.
On September 16 police were called to a Trent Hills residence for reports of a man that had been shot.
Brown was the victim of the suspected shooting and he later succumbed to his injuries.
The search for 18-year-old Zachary Comeau, the suspected shooter, and Daniel then began.
Comeau was eventually arrested on October 17 in Barrie and charged with second degree murder.
Daniel is expected to be in court in Cobourg on November 12.
