Arrest for Domestic Mischief
On November 6, 2021 at 9:15 p.m., police responded to the area of Mary Street and Dundas Street West regarding a domestic. Police attended the residence and conducted an investigation that revealed a male had returned to the residence causing damage to the door. The 34-year-old Belleville male was still on scene and was subsequently arrested for mischief under $5000. The male was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is to be released on an Undertaking.
Arrest for Refusal to Comply with Breath Demand
On November 6, 2021 at 10:20 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Station Street and Starling Street. Further investigation led police to issue a roadside breath demand to the driver of the motor vehicle. The driver refused to provide a sample of his breath upon request resulting in the arrest of 38-year-old Trenton resident, David Hanna, who was charged with fail or refusal to comply with breath demand. Mr. Hanna was released on an appearance notice and given a court date of November 25, 2021 to face the charge.
Erratic Driving Leads to Charges
On November 7, 2021 at 1:40 a.m., police observed an erratic driver on Coleman Street and initiated a traffic stop. An investigation revealed that the 22-year-old driver was a suspended driver. The driver was arrested and released on multiple provincial statutes.
