The Picton Pirates rolled the Frankford Huskies 9-3 Thursday night.
Picton opened the scoring just 10 seconds into the game with a goal from Owen Dever, his fourth of the season, to take an early lead.
Minutes later the Pirates widened the gap when Jack Dow scored to make it 2-0 and Dever struck again to make it 3-0.
Frankford broke into the game under two minutes later with a goal by Kurt Gibbs, but Picton answered just 45 seconds later with a Nate Boomhour marker.
The two teams would trade goals once more before the period’s end leaving the score at 5-2 for Picton.
In the second period it was all Pirates as Noah Brant and Devin Morrison scored and Dever completed the hat trick as well.
A third period Huskies power play goal would be all they could muster for the rest of the game as Ian Harrison added a shorthanded marker for Picton to take the 9-3 win.
Brant and Dever led the way for Picton with a goal and three assists and three goals and an assist, respectively.
Nolan Lane made 30 saves on 33 shots to secure the victory.
