A traffic complaint in Prince Edward County led to the seizure of cocaine and what police call an imitation weapon.
Late Tuesday morning, OPP responded to a report of a vehicle swerving all over County Road 1 in Hallowell Ward.
Police say the driver failed to provide identification and a search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of suspected cocaine and the imitation weapon.
Thirty-two-year-old Curtis Penick of Minden Hills Township faces impaired charges, as well as charges of possession of cocaine, possession of an imitation weapon, driving while suspended and obstructing a peace officer.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
The vehicle was impounded for a period of forty-five days.
