Building activity in Quinte West was down significantly in October compared to a year earlier.
Seventy-four permits worth $7.9 million were issued last month compared to 111 permits worth $12.5 million in October 2020.
Still, year-to-date construction is higher this year.
In the first nine months of this year, Quinte West has issued 761 permits with a construction value of $108.7 million.
Last year there were 704 permits worth $82.3 million issued through the end of October.
