Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 and one person in hospital Wednesday.
There have been two recoveries since Tuesday leaving 16 active cases.
The health unit dashboard shows half of the new cases are unvaccinated, the other half fully vaccinated.
All four are females with one age 18 or under.
Two of the new cases are in Quinte West and there is one each in Belleville and Prince Edward County.
The person being treated in hospital is not in the ICU at this time.
One outbreak remains active, a Belleville workplace that had three cases.
Eighty-four percent of local residents aged 12 and up are fully vaccinated with 90% having received a first dose of a COVID vaccine.
The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported three new cases in Northumberland.
Their Wednesday dashboard shows six active cases.
