If Quinte West council gives the plan the green light, pop-up shops could be coming to the village of Frankford.
Quinte West’s Economic Development and Tourism Committee is recommending two pop-up shops be put in Frankford’s Tourist Park along the Trent River as a pilot project.
The estimated cost to the city is $30,000 for sheds and marketing.
Staff is recommending that pop-up vendors not be permitted to sell items that compete with the existing canteen in the park.
