City of Belleville staff are recommending the Planning Advisory Committee recommend council approve rezoning of land to allow a condominium building in the west end.
The building would be four storeys with a stepped-back fifth storey holding 30 residential units on vacant land along Dundas Street West in the area of Wright Avenue.
Although a couple of nearby residents objected to the proposal because of noise and traffic concerns, staff says it fits in with the province’s push for more intense housing developments in already urban areas.
Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee meets virtually Monday afternoon at 5:30.
