A transport driver from Quebec is facing charges including impaired driving after a traffic stop on Highway 401 in the Napanee area Thursday afternoon.
Lennox and Addington OPP received a report of a westbound tractor trailer driving erratically around 1 p.m.
Police stopped the driver after the tractor trailer narrowly missed colliding with an overpass bridge.
The 39-year-old driver from Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec is charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Operation While Impaired, Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand; and two counts of Fail to Comply With a Release Order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Napanee Friday.
Their licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
