Hastings Prince Edward has hit another vaccination milestone.
HPE Public Health reports 90% of residents aged 12 and over, 134,003 people have at least one COVID vaccination.
And 84% or 125,238 people have received both doses.
Meanwhile, the health unit’s daily dashboard showed four new cases of COVID-19 Friday, all unvaccinated individuals.
There have been two recoveries leaving 20 active cases.
Two of the new cases are in Central Hastings, along with one each in Belleville and Quinte West.
No one is being treated in hospital.
One outbreak remains ongoing, a Belleville workplace where there are three cases.
During the last week, 453 people started their vaccination process by getting their first shot.
1,035 people became fully vaccinated while 196 people received a third dose booster shot.
Northumberland reported one new case on the HKPRDHU dashboard Friday and that is their only active case.
