Belleville council is expected to get the ball rolling on the reconstruction of a short but important stretch of street in the city’s southeast section at its meeting Monday.
Council will see a staff report recommending Greer Galloway Consulting Engineers do the detailed design work for major upgrades to South Foster Avenue between Dundas East and Keegan Parkway.
Greer Galloway’s bid was ranked the best out of five tenders coming in in the middle of the pack with a price of close to $379,000 including tax.
South Foster is in rough shape and reconstruction will involve water/sewer upgrades, sidewalks, and repaving.
