Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported three new cases of COVID-19 Friday.
And with another two recoveries, the active case count remains unchanged from Thursday at 21.
The health unit dashboard shows all three cases – two in Quinte West and one in Belleville – are in unvaccinated people in their 40s.
No one is being treated in hospital at this time.
Three outbreaks at local elementary schools are still considered ongoing but have not had any new cases reported in several days.
Eighty-three percent of local residents aged 12 and up, just under 124,000, are now fully vaccinated.
Eighty-nine percent, or more than 133,000, have received a first dose of a COVID vaccine.
Over the last seven days, 629 people received their first shot and 1,414 got their second.
There were 733 eligible people who were given a third booster dose.
The Hastings Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported two new cases in Northumberland Friday.
Its dashboard shows five active cases.
