Nominations for the next Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Band Council elections are coming up this Saturday (Oct. 23).
Candidates can be nominated at a special meeting at Quinte Mohawk School from 9 a.m. to noon.
Eligible voters can submit nominations for Chief and the four councillor roles.
The election itself is scheduled for Saturday, December 4 at Quinte Mohawk school.
The elected band council will serve a two year term.
