Drug Overdose
Belleville police officers responded to another overdose today. At 5:30 p.m., officers, paramedics and Belleville Fire Rescue attended a parkette on Octavia St. A 31-year-old Belleville male was in distress when officers arrived but he refused to go to the hospital. This is the third serious overdose situation in the last two days.
Intoxicated & Acting Up
Belleville police responded at 3:30 p.m. to an apartment complex on Bridge Street West on the report of a women banging on doors. Police located a very intoxicated 41-year-old female nearby and arrested her. She was held in the cells until sober enough to care for herself.
