Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Peter Hercus of Picton.
He matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the September 28, 2021 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000.
Peter, a 59-year-old teacher, said he is a regular lottery player who always chooses Quick Picks. While at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto he shared, “I was having a coffee at home one morning and checking my numbers on the website and said, oh I got one number, then suddenly I realized I had six!”
He plans to share some of his winnings with his children, complete some home renovations and have some fun. “It feels great! It gives us options,” he smiled.
The winning ticket was purchased at Foodmart on Bridge Street in Hastings.
