There’s concern about speeding drivers on some roadways in the Municipality of Brighton as the community’s population grows and tourism increases.
At Monday’s meeting Brighton council supported a motion to have staff report back on “traffic calming” measures other than extra police patrols or lowering speed limits.
The report is expected to address the cost and effectiveness of such measures as speed bumps, stop signs and mobile speed signs.
