Ontario Provincial Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide in Trent Hills but continue to search for a second suspect.
Thirty-eight-year-old Andrew Brown of Warkworth died from his injuries after he was shot at a residence on the morning of September 16.
Northumberland OPP issued warrants for 18-year-old Zachary Comeau and 19-year-old Kaveon Daniel of Mississauga.
Comeau was arrested on Sunday after the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant at a residential property in the City of Barrie.
He was to appear for a bail hearing in Cobourg on Monday on a charge of Second Degree Murder.
Northumberland OPP say the search continues for the second suspect, and that anyone who sees Kaveon Daniel should not approach him and should call 911 immediately.
Daniel is described as a black male, approximately 5’10”, 130lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair.
