This Monday marks the beginning of Waste Reduction Week in Ontario.
Chair of Belleville’s Green Task Force, Councillor Chris Malette says that people should follow the city’s social media channels throughout the week.
“On Facebook, on Instagram, on Twitter, all about ways that you can reduce waste in your home and in your business and industry.”
Traditional Waste Reduction activities such as blue and green box exchanges and in-person seminars won’t be held because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
