Commuters in Quinte West may have to adjust their routes next week as two major roads will be closed for work at railway crossings.
Hamilton Road and Whites Road will be completely closed at the CN railway crossings starting Monday, October 18 at 7 a.m. through Thursday, October 21 at 3 p.m. as Canadian National Railway undertakes rail crossing maintenance.
This work requires temporary full road closures at the railway crossings and no traffic or emergency vehicles will be able to cross at any time.
Detours will need to be taken prior to the railway crossing locations.
