Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner Thomas Carrique and Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney will be in Trenton Thursday to dedicate bridges to three Trenton Police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Plaques will be erected in memory of Constable Blair Campbell Brown, Constable Mark L. Houlden and Constable James Lynn Begbie.
Constable Blair Campbell Brown died in a collision in 1931 at the age of 29.
Constable Houlden was 37 when he died of a heart attack while responding to a domestic incident in 1970.
In 1978, Constable Begbie died as a result of a motorcycle accident that ocurred as he returned from firearms training.
