The provincial government is investing just over $1 million to improve infrastructure at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg.
Tuesday morning Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini announced the funding which is coming from the province’s Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
The money will be put toward roof repairs at the hospital, a project already underway and costing around $2.5 million.
Northumberland Hills Hospital is now 18 years old.
