The Frankford Huskies continued to struggle early in their inaugural season Friday night.
The Huskies hit the road to take on the Napanee Raiders at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
The Raiders jumped out to a lead in the first period on the strength of goals from defenceman Ethan Williams and forward Maverick Labrie.
Frankford answered with a goal from forward Connor Gillgian and Napanee took a 2-1 lead into the second.
After the lone Huskies goal in the first period the Raiders took control.
Ben Chubbs had two goals, Logan White and Johnny Wright each had one and goaltender Mitch Brown collected a win as the Raiders downed the Huskies 6-1.
The Huskies will continue to look for their first win when they play the Amherstview Jets Saturday night at 7:50 in Frankford.
